Damien is an A&E series based on the 1976 horror film The Omen. Thornberg & Forester was engaged to conceive the visual language and assets to launch the series. Our treatments covered a range of dynamics from hazy nightmares, flashbacks and distant memories to juxtapositions of religious and demonic imagery. We designed, photographed, filmed and illustrated a wealth of solutions that represented the evil and satanic forces that have forever surrounded Damien.
Macro photography of textures, fluids and ink yielded organic, spirit-like qualities that ultimately became the foundation of the package. We filmed a library of textural content that would become plates for all deliverables.
